Materials: 20 student-made matching cards per set
1. Prepare about 20 cards (10 pairs). Students can make the cards themselves—for example, English word + Chinese meaning, word + picture, or question + answer.
2. Shuffle all cards and place them face down in a grid.
3. Players take turns flipping two cards. If they match, the player reads the pair aloud and keeps it. If they do not match, turn both cards face down again.
4. Encourage everyone to watch carefully and remember where cards are.
5. When all pairs have been found, the player or team with the most pairs wins.
💡 Change the type of pair to review vocabulary, phonics, grammar, or reading content.
