English Instructions

Materials: Small question cards

1. Prepare small cards with age-appropriate get-to-know-you questions.

2. Students draw a card and ask the question to a partner or classmate.

3. The partner answers in a full sentence and may ask a follow-up question.

4. Switch partners or draw a new card and repeat.

5. For larger classes, use the cards as a mingle activity; for smaller classes, play in pairs or circles.

💡 Keep a mix of easy, funny, and preference-based questions so students have something they actually want to say.

「What’s your favorite color?」
「Do you like bubble milk tea?」
「Can you swim?」
