Letter Mahjong
下課前 5 分鐘，來打一場「英文麻將」🀄！利用手上的字母拼出英文單字，單字越長分數越高。拼不出來還能換牌，看哪一組最後拿下最高分✨

中文玩法
準備：字母麻將（也可使用字母卡牌／字母磁鐵）
① 每組拿 16 張字母麻將每組發 16 張字母麻將，剩下的牌蓋著放在中央，作為摸牌區。沒有字母麻將的話，用字母卡牌或字母磁鐵也可以😆
② 看手牌，找單字 🔍各組一起討論，利用手上的字母拼出至少 3 個字母的英文單字。每回合最多拼一個單字。
③ 拼出單字，拼字得分！輪到自己的組別時，把單字排出來，唸出單字並說出中文意思。老師確認正確後就能得分！每個字母算 1 分：▫️ CAT → 3 分▫️ FISH → 4 分▫️ APPLE → 5 分計分後，把使用過的字母麻將放到積分區，再按照使用的張數補牌，讓手牌維持 16 張。例如 CAT 用了 3 張，就再摸 3 張。
④ 拼不出來就換牌如果這回合真的拼不出單字，可以打出一張不需要的牌，再從摸牌區抽一張新牌，接著結束該回合。
⑤ 時間到，比總分！ 🏆時間結束後，計算各組積分區的字母總數，總分最高的組別獲勝！
💡 老師小提醒・每組每回合可以限制在 10～20 秒，輪到其他組時就先小聲討論下一個單字。・第一次玩或學生程度較弱，可以開放翻課本找單字，降低拼字難度。

・Give each team about 10–20 seconds per turn. While another team is playing, students can quietly plan their next word.
・For beginners or the first time playing, let students look through their textbooks for words to make the spelling challenge easier.
