Materials: English–Chinese matching vocabulary cards
1. Use matching English–Chinese vocabulary cards. Put students in small groups, shuffle, and deal a hand to each player.
2. Students first set aside any complete pairs already in their hands and read them aloud.
3. On a turn, ask another player for a card using the target English pattern, such as “Do you have ___?”
4. If the player has the requested card, they hand it over and the asker keeps the completed pair. If not, they say “Go fish!” and the asker draws from the pile.
5. Continue until the cards are gone. The player or team with the most completed vocabulary pairs wins.
