Materials: Little Monsters game cards; magnets optional
1. Put students in teams of 3–4. Each team secretly draws one Monster card. Display the monsters in play plus 1–2 decoys on the board.
2. Give each team 5 Topic cards. Choose a main language target, such as “Can you…?”, and mix in familiar topics like size or color.
3. Completing a class challenge earns one question. A team plays a Topic card and asks another team, for example, “Can you sing?”
4. The other team checks its secret monster and answers truthfully: “Yes, I can.” or “No, I can’t.” Use the answer to record or eliminate possible monsters. Replace the used Topic card so each team keeps 5 cards.
5. Keep asking questions and narrowing down the possibilities.
6. When a team is ready, shout “Got you!” and name the monster. Correct → capture that monster and the other team draws a new one. Wrong → give your own monster to the other team and draw a new one.
7. The team with the most captured monsters at the end wins.
